GOD BLESS INTERNET ACCESS!!!

I have been in the middle of the jungle -at least it feels like it – an hour and a half away from Pnom Phen -further than we thought we would be – in a village that has NEVER seen foreigners – which is a blessing in disguise teaching English to the locals.

Cambodia is SUCH a different place than Thailand. Most of the population in Cambodia is my age. In Thailand when we walked around the dirt roads of the huge and tightly packed village we stayed in we frequently commented on the NEED for walkers due to the prevalent amount of elderly walking at ninety degree angles. But here in Cambodia, there are so few elderly here due to a century spent in war. Only 3% of the population of Cambodia is over the age of sixty. Also due to the wars Cambodia is suffering from a LACK of economical development. so being able to teach a great number of poor farming students around my age English is an amazing gift.

Being here in Cambodia and last month in Thailand is a great gift that God has blessed me with by using you, my supporters back home. However I am still not fully funded and that is a scary reality. I have a support deadline coming up but that is nothing to me being fully funded. I am at funding marker $7,749.22 but I still need $3,249.22 to be all the way there and not fear having to come home from the race if I don’t get there.

So I am asking that you keep me in your prayers that I am fully funded and get to stay out in the field, for our visa’s to India be excepted – that is why Pnom Penh, safe travels in to Vietnam as we make our way into Australia next month, for my heart to be constantly pointed to and focused on Christ this month and what it is He is asking of me, and to prepare the hearts of those we minister to that they are receptive to, that they are receptive and opened.

Thank you all and God Bless,
 Kim

P.S. By the way when you get the chance if you don’t know the history of Cambodia Google S. 21 or the Killing Fields. I got to visit both places here this weekend they are very informative.
