Sorry I meant to post this but was unable to post it because of faulty internet!  We were offline for the last month but back on the grid now in Hong Kong and tomorrow South Africa!

When you say Bohon in the Philippines you are saying to that person “goodbye until we meet again.”  Today was the first time of 11 that we will depart our ministry sites and say goodbyes and God bless to our ministry contacts.  Leaving is hard because relationships are hard and relationship building is hard… and we don’t want to leave meaningful relationships and ministry.  So, in departing a destination halfway around the world one thinks to himself(or at least I did)… Will I ever see these people again on earth?  Last week just before we repelled off a bridge I was singing “When we all get to Heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we’ll sing and shout for victory.”   I had practiced playing this song on my harmonica that morning and it just so happened that I was singing that song just before repelling(see picture of activity that would probably get you arrested in the states).  While the timing of the song I was singing was ironic and led to conversation there is something bigger there.  Whether I see my Filipino brother and sister again I know that we will rejoice together when we get to Heaven and I know what an eternity of rejoicing that will be.  I hope that someday that I will have the chance to meet my brothers and sisters in Christ again… but if not I will rejoice when I see them in glory!  So as we move onto a “closed country” we spent the last night we had the opportunity to rejoice and give thanks to God for his faithfulness to Mount Moriah Camp and Church in the Philippines.  We heard amazing stories of God’s faithfulness and rested with the moon shining bright over the soccer field and awoke to a flurry of workers building God’s kingdom.  Some were doing this by physically building a sports evangelism site and others loving young orphaned children as if they were their own.
