… Music is such an incredible tool to reach the hearts and souls of people and set them on fire. I have always loved music and playing the drums. Just thinking about playing them excites me… I really hope to be able to spread this to people on the trip. I have played the drums for over 10 years now, and my original plan / goal before deciding to go on the World Race was to find other Christian musicians and start a band and tour as a ministry. That dream still might happen someday, I know the Lord has blessed me with the talent to drum, and certainly a driving passion to play ( I tap on things ALL day long and am always thinking about drums parts, I know its excessive). The dream has evolved into more than just being in a band and playing music to reach people. I also want to do some type of missions work with my life, my ultimate dream would be to somehow find a band and play in churches around the world, but also do some mission's work while we are at each place for whatever period of time.
I truly hope that on the world race I can find my passion for a certain mission's field and I also hope that I get a chance to spread the love of music I have to other people. Music to me is more than just entertaining people, I want to set their souls on fire and have it point them to the Lord. Music is about bringing the people in, but also sending a message to them, ministering to them, and being there for them after you play. That is the power that music has and I am so blessed that the Lord as bestowed that upon me for a special purpose…
