Hello, my name is Kevin Crow! I’m currently a police officer in Colorado. I received a Bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University in Educational Ministry, and a Master’s Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Biblical Studies: Archaeology.

In my free time, I usually hike with the dog and read as much as I can. I love traveling and the idea of combining my love of travel with my love of God is an incredible opportunity. While it is a terrifying notion, I know God’s calling me to step away from a life of comfort and delve into a world I know nothing about.

That is why starting in January(2017), I will be living out of a backpack for a year, traveling to 11 different countries to help those in need and share the Gospel. I will be going to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mongolia, China, Mozambique, Swaziland, Madagascar, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.

While these countries offer a rich and beautiful culture, there are areas that are in desperate need of aid. I will be helping individuals that don’t have the resources to help themselves. The most valuable commodity I can give is time. The individuals I will be contacting range from the impoverished, to victims of sex trafficking, to orphans who have lost their parents to disease.

Please be assured that this isn’t a vacation. I will be smelly, exhausted, and I’ll probably get sick. But none of that compares to the immense joy I will feel when we put a roof over that family’s head. Or when we tell that young girl that she is worth more than her going price on the street. Or when we hold those kids and tell them they have a Father in Christ and a life long friend in us. Every minute of every day will be spent investing in people. People who may have never felt comfort, or peace, or even love.

If you feel called to do so, please join me on this race, and make this dream a reality. Your contribution will be impacting every community that I get to be a part of. In order to live for the year, I need $16,900. You can donate and follow our journey on this page. Thoughtful prayers are always appreciated.

God Bless.
