So you may have already read in some blogs that we have had another team change! The reasons for this is that our squad leaders are only with us for the first 4 months of the race and then they go back to the states and come back for like a week month 8 debrief and final debrief. So at the end of month 3 they raise up new squad leaders from our group to take their place and then train them month 4 before they leave to go back to the states.
So Scotty and Shannon were raised up as our new squad leaders.
Cody and Lindsay were raised up to take their place as team leaders.
And then teams were rearranged to fill in gaps.
My team didn’t change entirely but we did lose Nikki and Cara who are both on a new team.
And in their place we got Sarah Anderson and Paul Bell. They are both from Team Lovebound and we are so excited to start a new journey on a new continent with them! And Greg gets a guy!!!
So Check out their blogs and add them to your prayers. We have made it to the Philippines and are in a town called Malay Balay working with Kids International Ministries at an orphanage here.
I really think it’s going to be a great month and look forward to the relationships that will be built here.
