So Nikki on my team is pretty awesome and came up with the idea of team declarations. Declarations are something that started way back at training camp. We declare over ourselves, our team, and our squad basically the desires of our hearts for the race whether it be declaring encouragement, or faith, or health, or whatnot. So Nikki came up with these declarations and this is the blog she posted that she so willingly is allowing us to post on our sites. So please enjoy and pray these things over our team! Thanks ya’ll!
Here in Nicaragua, we’ve had a lot more free time to focus more on being a team and living in community. One night as we were discussing things, I felt that we needed to make some team specific declarations. So, as a team, the next morning we came up with a list of words that we felt described us or what we would like to become. Based off that list, here are our ‘Decs’…
WE WILL BE UNITED WITH ONE HEART AND ONE MIND
SO THAT GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED
