From the very beginning at training we were told to let go of all our expectations. For our route, our ministries, and our teams. After quite a day of traveling we finally made it to Antigua, Guatemala. We are staying in 2 hostels right across the street from each for the next few days that we are here. After we unloaded our bags into our rooms we had an orientation type meeting for the whole squad. At this point we were reminded about letting go of our expectations. A few of our squad mates felt that God was telling them to wait for a different race time. So this left a few holes in teams. So team solo no longer exists which is sad but we all know that God has a plan and a purpose and that these new teams are going to be used in great ways! My new team hasn’t decided on a name yet so I will wait till then to introduce them to you. We are having a Internet fast for the next 2 days to just focus on learning our new teams and the culture.
