This last Thursday at IHOP (International House Of Prayer), I was amazed how the Holy Spirit was
moving. During one of the songs, the Lord gave me a word. I got up to the
microphone and began to speak these words, “Many Christians are sitting on
their hands and saying, “uh-huh Lord, I’m not moving.� But the truth is, that
you are denying Christ in your life and God wants to burst your bubble and get
you moving. We are called to action and you are His hands and His feet. So get
going, there’s so many possibilities for you.�
Later, an older gentleman named John came to me and wanted prayer.
I soon learned, for six years he has been searching diligently for God’s
direction for His life. Even as an older man, He knows God has something for
Him. Isn’t that amazing? It does not matter how old you are, God still wants to
use you!
God gave me words of truth to speak over his life, and I
heard the Lord say the country Germany. Immediately, John began to manifest in
the Spirit. Something was being confirmed in the spiritual realm. John began to
cry and tears of joy streamed down his face and his faced glowed, as he was
completely swallowed up by the living power of Christ.
He told me
later that he went to Germany six years ago on a mission trip and was broken
because of the devastation he saw. I just simply replied, “Now is your time, go
in peace and with God’s favor.�
Is this exciting or what! This man has abandon himself to
the foot of the cross and said, “my life is not my own, have your way Lord
Jesus.�
I am just a young puppy compared to John and I hope when I
am at John’s age, I will still have enthusiasm and want to go wherever God wants
me to go. To still dream dreams and seek the Lord’s face with everything I
have.
Oh Lord it does not matter how old we are, you still want to
use your willing servants.
Where you go Lord, we will go
What you say Lord, we
will say.
What you pray Lord, we will pray.
