Hi! I’m glad to see you adventured onto the about me page. I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. I studied and graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I love teaching little ones. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in sixth grade. My dad played a big role in that as I grew up watching him teach and experiencing him as a teacher myself. I have been substitute teaching at the local elementary schools at home, teaching at a preschool, and volunteering with little ones. I studied abroad in England during the summer of 2015. I had the opportunity to teach British children in the local British school of Liverpool. Some of my favorite things include pizza, traveling, dogs, quality time with friends, and painting. I’ve been blessed to spend some time abroad, which has built within me a huge heart for missions and other cultures. Throughout my college years, the Lord captured my heart. I grew to know Jesus as a friend. Throughout the years, the Lord began to open my heart to missions. I went on a trip last year to East Asia and this was the first time my eyes were opened to the unreached people groups of the world. My heart broke to learn that there are people that have no freedom to believe what they want. They are told from an early age what to believe and do not have much freedom in exploring other ways of thinking. Jesus is a name many have never heard. My hope is that I get to play a part in spreading Jesus’ name in these places where His name is unknown. I want people to have the choice to hear and believe in the saving grace of Jesus.

Loving on the local babies of East Asia!

Diving into the culture to learn more about the people of Asia.
