Welcome to Copperhill Tennessee! It is 100 degrees and 100 percent humidity. And at times it feels warmer than Arizona's 115 degree weather. The South definititely captures a beauty that I have never experienced (I will post pictures as soon as I a make it home).

I am sitting in the lodge just up the hill from our tent camp. 200 future racers camping out sharing a bathroom and at times eating meals from communal bowls with our hands  (Yes Lezlie our hands! :)) I will post much more about they crazy experiences of what feels like a month since I made it here.

We have been asked to blog to future World Racers to give them a taste of training camp, so here you go:

Dear future racer,

You all are probably are looking for a packing list. That is what I was in search of from previous Racers before training camp, my best advice is cut everything you packed in half.
You will probably only need four to five pairs of clothes. You are going to shower less, change less and care less than normally.
Rain jacket
Febreeze
will be your best friend!
WET WIPES– a must!
Bring bug spray, I think I have 10 welts so far and that is with 100% deet.
Bring sunscreen you will be outside all day for many days in a row.
Have your pack fitted to you correctly, and make sure you know how to adjust it– for your backs sake.
You will be eating some funky things, get excited!

One more fun thing…Before this week I've never:
-Worshiped more
-Slept in the rain
-Witnessed the Holy Spirit heal someone in seconds
-Gotten a tattoo with 5 other people on a bridge a state away
-Heard more testimonies that brought me to tears
-Been unconscious and had teammates carry me through (Family I promise I'm completely ok)
-Loved more strangers in my life!

Lots of love

Kenra

Oh and family and friends I am doing great, I will be home Wednesday and I can't wait to see you all and give lots of hugs and tell you about my week with God! Thank you for all your prayers this past week, they have been such a comfort for me!
