I am completely blown away with God. Two weeks ago I received an email from the WR about an exciting opportunity for racers that would not only require us to change routes if we took the opportunity but also we would be involved in something that has never been done before for the WR!!!!!!!
When I look back over these last 7 months of living in California all I can do is praise God for how faithful He has been. I stepped out in faith believing that God had spoken though I had no plans; not really any clue of what I was going to do while there. Since being here God has taken care of everything and has made so many things clear. I was speaking with my friend today who was boarding her plane to Ghana where she will be living for a year and she was talking about that “first step.” All God asks is that we take one step and trust Him with the rest. He never fails!!
I’m saying all of this because God has literally given me the desires of my heart. Desires I firmly believe He planted there in the first place. When I found out about this exciting opportunity my heart dropped!! “Lord, should I do this? Should I switch to this new route?” My mind was flooded with those ridiculous “what if’s” until I was reminded of the “WHY NOT” that got me here in the first place. So after praying, after listening on 2 conference calls with the founders, I said “YESSSS”!!!! I was switched the next day to K-SQUAD!!
So if you’re still wondering what this opportunity is…well, I’ll get to that in my next blog post BUUUUT what I can tell you now is that after a bit of impatience (sue me lol) my new squad and I found out 9 of the 11 places that we will be traveling. *drum roll please*
