Today, I realized I needed to write a blog. The main reason I wanted to write a blog is because I will be leaving for debrief tomorrow and for Malawi in 3 days. Then I watched a documentary called “Finger of God. I was supposed to be packing and cleaning, but I had heard that I needed to watch the film (plus I am a 5-star procrastinator), so I did….

Basically, what happened is… IT BLEW MY MIND. The film is about how God still has His finger in our lives today. Healing, Helping, and Loving…OH MY. It made me very excited about my time in Southern Africa for the next three months.
Away from the internet.
Away from running water.
Away from beds.
Away from shelter.
Away from all of the comforts that I have let become a “normal part of life.

So here I am, packing a few sets of clothes, a couple pairs of shoes, some toiletries, 2 Bibles, and a lot of journaling paper, trusting that God will provide anything else I might need for the next 3 months. God commanded me to be here, right now!
Jesus said to them again, “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you —John 20:21
So I am listening. I am obeying. I want God to completely wreck me in Africa. I want to be even more on fire. I want to see miracles. God is going to show up. I trust that God will be there in my times of need. I was reading “My Up Most For His Highest by Oswald Chambers earlier and today’s devotion was called “What is a Missionary? It ended with this, “We give credit to human wisdom when we should give credit to the divine guidance of God being exhibited through childlike people who were “foolish enough to trust God’s wisdom and His supernatural equipment. I am foolish. Foolish enough to trust God.

October 29th I will be flying out of the Bucharest airport with 2 layovers (one in Athens, the other in Qatar), then we will arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our next stop will be in Malawi after around a 30 hour bus ride, which could turn into more like 50 hours (this is the world race). Our location this month seems to be in a pretty remote location, so the internet is unlikely, resulting in few blogs if any.

This month my team will need A LOT of prayerful support. We will be attacked spiritually, physically, and mentally. Please pray for good health, especially against Malaria (even though we will all be taking preventive drugs), satan will definitely want to bring us down! However, we will not allow that to happen. So send some prayers up for us!

Thanks to all of my fabulous supporters. You mean so much to me and you are definitely furthering the kingdom through your support. Right now, I only have $2,447.60 left to raise. Please prayerfully consider supporting me so I can finish out the race God has called me to! Love you all.

My hands. My feet. My everything. My life. My love. Lord use me.
I want to set the world on FIRE!
