Day one of ministry in Romania- Our team packed our sack lunch and hopped in a van with our ministry contact Raul, his two sons, and two of his missionaries. We drove about an hour and a half to a village of non believers and split up into groups to hand out bibles.

My team leader Jason and I began walking around handing out these bibles and We stumble upon an elderly man and woman (husband and wife) handed them a bible, said thank you, and we kept walking.

On our way walking back to the van, we pass by the elderly couple again and Jason looks at me and says" you wanna go pray for them?" So we walk towards them as they are thumbing through the bible's we gave them, layed our hands on them and began to pray.

We finish our prayers and as the elderly woman wipes away her tears the man asks how much it will be. Jason and I look at each other shocked. 98% of these people are Orthodox believers and come to find out to have someone pray for you, you have to pay a price. Looking into the old mans eyes and holding the frail womans arm my heart broke. Full of anger and compassion, I shook my head and said "no we don't want your money"

Here are a few pictures from that day and a few more of what we've been up to.

Yup that's me standing in front of  Bulgaria! Day one of ministry and this is where our contact took us for lunch! I'll just say this month has been alot different from last month. Showers, toilets, and swimming pools 🙂 We are definitely making the most of it before we head off to India!

Meet Valentina the cutest gypsy in Romania!

Not sure if you can tell but during craft time Valentina got marker all over her hands, clothes, and mouth!

Some days of ministry we go grocery shopping for the poorest widows in nearby villages, deliver them and pray for them.

Here are the widows. I fell in love with the one on the right- She has such a positive spirit!

Paula cut us fresh flowers from her breathtaking garden!

Another day of ministry we worked with Pastor George the first part of the day then he and his family took us all to a pool! This pool was amazing! There was the most beautiful weeping willow tree beside it. We were also surrounded by hammocks! For a moment I felt like I needed to pinch myself 🙂

I jumped! For some reason pastor George was shocked.

I hope you enjoyed the photos! Please keep my team and Draganesti, Romania in your prayers. Also, I started another blog and I would LOVE for you to check it out! You can find it at www.efflorescentjoy.blogspot.com
