From Moldova to Romania
Tuesday morning my teammates and I left the small town of Cornesti, Moldova headed for the capital city of Chisinau for debrief. After debrief we traveled for about 17 hours by train to Draganesti, Romania. But, before I left Moldova I decided to make one pit stop! A guitar shop! While in Moldova one of my goals I wrote down for this year was to be able to pray and worship while playing the guitar. So far, I've learned two songs! Living here with 4 teammates that know how to play helps. It's definitely a beautiful feeling to wake up in the morning go outside by myself and worship with the guitar 🙂

I took so much away from month 1 in Moldova and I'm praying I will never forget the children there that touched my life, the things I learned, and the many sweet revelations God gave me.
Here is a picture of the life changing book I read while in Moldova. I highly recommend it! It taught me so much about joy and thanksgiving.

Last month during worship God spoke to me and said this year will be a year I discover for myself who He says He is. Not who a preacher, a friend, or a family member says He is. But, a year to truly seek Him, find Him for myself, and believe it. I'm not saying God doesn't use those people along the way because he does!
Shortly after this revelation He also revealed to me that this will be a year that I not only find out who He is but, I will also discover who He says I am. That I will no longer be identified by who the world says I am.
Its so easy to depend on others to reveal God to you and just as easy to let the words of others become something you live by. You can never truly grow as a Christian riding on someone elses passion.
So, as I smile, give thanks to Him, and continue on this journey of seeking and finding I wonder have you found your own flame?
Yes being the easy answer, I challenge you to dig deeper. Here is a song I love called find my own flame! Check it out 🙂
