God’s Earthly presence
“Influences”
I was reflecting and thanking God for the amazing people that he has placed in my life at strategic times in my life. I was reflecting on each of these people and thinking about how they left an impression in my life. I just started writing in my journal things that each of these people have taught me and I realized that God is SO present in my every day life. I knew this but sometimes it is easy to not acknowledge that, he is daily in my life simply by loving me enough to place each of these people in my life. Some of these people I was not deserving of during certain seasons in my life but God knew I needed them in my life. Each of the bullets below are referencing a different person in my life and what they taught me. I was going to place their names beside it ( I know you guys would really enjoy that with eager anticipation) but I decided that it does not matter who taught me these lessons. I just feel blessed that through these people it pushed me to grow in deeper intimacy with my creator.
– You showed me what unconditional love looks like
– You showed me what recklessly following the Lord and Obedience looks like
– You showed me the power of prayer and how it brings transformation
– You showed me how to per server through the “desert” seasons
– You showed me the true definition of patience and the beauty of holding my tongue sometimes
– You showed me how to love the gift of words and talking…even if that means talking to myself 🙂
– You showed me to live out each day with passion and eagerness to see what the day has to offer…because we are not promised tomorrow
– You showed me to SPEAK loud, with boldness, and it is still lady like to have a strong opinion
– You showed me that there is better
– You showed me to guard my heart and place God as my first love and pursuer
– You showed me the true definition of community
– You showed me what it looks like to have child like faith forever and always
– You showed me the radiance that comes just simply by smiling
– You showed me it is okay to depend on others for help and the significance in vulnerability
– You showed me to dance with reckless abandonment
– You showed me the importance of my words
– You showed me to tell myself each day “God is enough”
– You showed me the excitement that comes each day when I am walking in the will of God
– You showed me to not just dream, but dream big, and not just dream big but dream with expectancy
Thank you to those who have shown me these things. I would not be the women I am today with out learning these lessons from you guys. I am so thankful that God blessed me with such amazing people that don’t just pray for me. They walk life with me they push me towards Christ and challenge me and love me.
I think I am going to retire from my World Race blog but I feel like God is calling me to create my own blog page. To use as a revenue to push and challenge and encourage people around me. To pay back the things that I have learned 🙂 I will let you guys know when I get that up and started.
