First country, third day. What's there to say? We are in the Dominican Republic. We have a roof over our heads; that leaks when it rains, running water; that could make you sick, electricity; when it wants to work, and an amazing God that gives us joy; EVERY STINKING DAY! Life is great in the Dominican. Everyone here is so loving, joyful, and open to what you have to say. The Dominicans are amazing, they love everything about us being here. They are so open to what you have to say and want to tell you everything about them. They have this amazing desire to hear about God that you would almost NEVER see in the States; it's so encouraging and humbling. Even though they only have a little shack to live in, barely any electricity, and dirty water they have more joy than even the richest man in America could ever have. They will welcome you into their home without a second thought, they stop everything just so they can talk to you. They love you and don't even know you! They want to know you and know God.

That's why I am here, to share the love of God with these people who think they already know Him. They think they know Him because they believe there is a God and that He is the creator and sustainer of all life, but they have a very skewed view of who He is and they still have idols that they pray to. But even through this they have still found a way to humble me and to show me another way God shows His love and that I am here for a purpose, to show them who the real God is and what He can do for them.

Please pray for these people as we continue to minister to them and share the amazing word of God with them, pray that God will continue to open their hearts and minds to us and what we have to say. And pray for my team as we are all struggling with things.
