Wow! sorry it has been so long!
Well lets see what has happened over the last few months…
I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University on May 12, 2012! 🙂
I would post a picture of my diploma or something as proof, but I haven't gotten it yet. Worrisome, I know.
I also made the Dean's List! It took me 8 semesters to make it, but I made it! As my roommate said… better late than never! 🙂
Graduating from OBU was such a bitter sweet achomplishment. It was amazing in the fact that I can now say I have a degree in Psychology instead of I'm just majoring in it; so now I can really freak people out! 🙂 But leaving campus for the last time as a student was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. OBU was my home for the last four year, I have made some incredible memories and friends here that I will never forget. Please excuse the cheesey-ness, but it was the best four years of my life!
That's all to say, I cannot wait to see what God has planned for the next 11 months. I'm sure I will make even more memories and friends that I will stay in contact with. I can't wait!!!!
Well, I finally got my first piece of equipment for the Race… My Tent!!!! After going to Quest to learn about everything i need to get for the Race, I became overwhelmed with the feeling that this thing was actually happening! It wasn't that I didn't think it would actually happen, it was more of a "Holy cow! This is happening in like 3 months!" The shock of how close it is hasn't really effected my excitement for it though, which i am really happy about. I have yet to be afraid of the actual trip and what we will be doing and everything, my fear has continued to be that I will chicken out, or get really close to wanting to chicken out. So far so good though! 🙂
I will hopefully getting more equipment soon! I'll keep y'all updated!
