TRAVELING NEEDS:
- Two-person multi-weather freestanding tent( not over 5-6lbs) Needs adequate ventilation
- Footprint for tent
- Stuff sacks or cubes for packing
BEDDING
- Small travel pillow
- Sleeping bag liner
CLOTHING
-Notes:All clothing must be modest. Pack shirts that cover your shoulders. Pack 2-3 skirts that are below the knee and one of those should go to your ankles. Skirts are worn for most ministry settings and even out in public in many locations around the world. Prepare to wear skirts at least 50% of the time. There will be opportunities to wear pants & MODEST shorts on your off days and around the house.(I wear a medium top, medium shorts/pants size 6 or 27/ shoes size 9)
- Pair of good sandals preferably Chacos ZX/2 Yampa, but Keens ,Tevas or a similar hiking sandal is great. I will be living in these shoes
- Wool socks
- Fast-drying undies
- 2-4 skirts or dresses
- 7-10 lightweight comfy shirts ( a hiking dress shirt would be great because it isn’t hot ,yet it is appropriate)
- Tan hiking pants (extra long)
PERSONAL ITEMS:
- A roll of toilet paper

? Small pack towel. Sarongs are recommended because they are lightweight, dry quickly, and are incredibly multi-purpose.

? Stationary for letters home/Thank you notes (just a few)
? Alarm clock
? IF you take supplements at home, bring them IF you will take them. We suggest a good pro-biotic and garlic extract (natural anti-microbial) at the least – pack 3-4 months worth. You can buy more at major cities.
