Sometimes,
no wait… most of the time, the Lord sparks a bit of revelation
which causes me to chew on that bit for a while until more of that
revelation comes in full, or at least I think it is in full until
MORE comes on top of that. Honestly, there is stuff that Jesus or
Paul or some neat Biblical figure say in the Word that I just do not
understand. I can sit and ask God and try to make it fit into my
brain in a way that I want it to, but a lot of it just does not
stick. I read this morning “.. and the peace of God which surpasses
all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus”, and while the first time I read that I got so excited like
WOW God loves me so much I cant even comprehend it, and His peace
blows my mind, and it is all through my Lover Jesus… and then it
hit me. It passes my understanding. So wait God… your saying I
really do not understand this? That I cannot comprehend what you are
really saying? So I think I get it, but I really do not. Humm
confused? Check. “Love, your Spirit understands everything, if you
let your mind do all the work you will stay in the room of confusion,
doubt, unbelief… I am totally above and beyond what you can
understand in your own words and thoughts, but babe, we have all day
everyday to help you receive this deep into your spirit, which
surpasses your mind” – Love, Your God.
Ohhhhh
well that is helpful. I feel much better now! If we continue to only
believe what we can feel, touch, or understand… then what is the
point? Our minds remain on earthly things. And there is no way to
release the Kingdom of God to this earth while we stay in the same
spot of only living and breathing what we can understand.
Another
boom boom, the other week at house church one of the cool members
sparked revelation again. Here is whats in my head, geese there are
so many people in this world, I sit in traffic for hours, I wait in
lines long enough to forget where I am, I see pictures of people from
countries I have never heard of… and yet we are all here. Now.
Living on earth, together. Could it be that when God said He gave us
everything we need, when He promised we will always have what we
need, and even things we desire, could it be that what we are after
is INSIDE everyone around us? He is in all and through all. He is the
core of every being He created. He creates with purpose and
intention. Could it be that what we are asking God for right now, is
in the person we come into contact with the most? We just do not want
a person to reveal it, we mostly wait for the big angel to arrive in
our dreams with heavenly trumpets and cool bandanas. I think as a
Church, as the Bride we over look each other too much. Spending time
with someone could hold the greatest moments of revelation and
transformation. We are different right? What a weird mind that kid
has, why does she DO that?? I wish he wouldn’t say that, it really
ticks me off. Could it be that what is in us is being pulled out
by others, for the Glory Of God? Yes, I think so, wait I know so.
Mastermind has it all figured out, He is so intentional. Okay,
where does that lead, lets love each other better. Cheese wad. We are
all in this life together, all after truth, blessing, understanding,
Jesus, love, laughter… we all posses some of that, and we are all
able to give what we posses right? A grape cannot give orange juice.
You can give what you posses, so lets give others the love, honor,
encouragement that they need. Cause you know as well as I know that
life is not easy. “Pleasant words are like honeycomb, sweetness to
the soul and health to the bones” – no thats not a fortune
cookie, thats in Proverbs.
So
maybe the people around you are around you because they need
something you have, more joy, profound love, laughter, dance moves, a
good book… it could be anything. But we need to be in a position of
willingness to receive and give, if we are not what is the point, go
be a caveman.
So
like Ellen DeGeneres says to end her shows “be kind to one another”
your kindness will probably release that person into more
understanding of our Lords kindness.
