RO RO RO yer Mania.
Not for sure where this blog is going to end up, so just a heads up. I feel like most every blog doesnt end up turning out the way I think it will.
1. A. Romania rocks my face off
2. B. Matthew finally showered. (he didnt shower the whole month of Nigeria) but it was a supernatural gift for the rest of us that he didnt smell. weird.
3. C. I ate wild strawberries. I was not suppose to, but who can help themselves?!
4.D. I almost forgot a had a little gypsy girl on my back. No explanation.
5. E. I have seen more horse and buggy carriages than cars in our village
6. F. I cannot spell or pronounce the name of our village
7. G. Maryanne and I ran side by side with two deer through a wheat field
8. H. Dracula has a castle not too far from us
9. I. Romanians have a tough time pronouncing the letter “V” so we go to the willages to speak with the willagers.
Just a verse from the lips of God that I have marveled over…”And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” Romans 8:28
How amazing and lovely is that… beyond words that is absolutely love. Love that in every deed, in every circumstance works for our good. From the most minimal to the most momentous; ALL things work for our good simply because we LOVE God. This is not a scripture that I can read and comprehend in a day, or a week, or years. God is extravagant in such ways that in reading His word more and more revelation comes with His timing. The word “work” is powerful. He does not say it will work or it might work… or even it did work but God says “all things work”… everything comes together… all things are working now and will work later for our good.
I could write and babble for days I feel. But I encourage us all to stop and meditate on this living word of our loving God. Read it slow, out loud, whisper it to yer heart… and allow the Lord to speak to YOU about it. I love you all very much.
We are in a tiny village about 20 minutes outside of Targu Mures, Romania. We spend a few days a week in the big town building relationships and speaking with the city folk. We spend one or two days going into the “willages” and pouring love out on the gypsy people and the Hungarians.
I love yer prayers, please continue to lift our team and mission for this month up in prayer. Only God can change hearts, only God can reveal truth through us, only God can pour out a love that changes villages.
Please continue to pray for finances. As time has dwindled down it is getting close to a sure deadline for my support. I am NOT asking for yall to give. I am asking for yall to pray. Ask our Lord to speak to you about support, what that looks like for you as an individual. Thank you very much… i love you all with a pure and simple love.
