In the mist of my overwhelming schedule and busyness, I find myself in complete awe of what God is doing. He has been working through different people I have either been in contact with through phone conversations, letters, emails, or one-on-one conservations. I have been so blown away by their support, encouragement, and prayers – and I am deeply and sincerely grateful to have the opportunity to partner with each person I have been in contact with on my mission trip journey!
God has been continually teaching and reminding me that He is in control, and I am so glad He is. He has shown me that in the middle of my struggles, He wants to intervene in order to help me realize that with His power and strength alone, anything is possible.
In the past week alone, God has shown me just that. Last Sunday, I had raised up to $5,700. A little over a week later, I have officially reached $8,689 which is 53% of my total fundraising goal!!!!
I AM OVER HALFWAY TO BEING FULLY FUNDED!!!
This doesn’t even seem real. But that’s the point. It was nothing I did. Trust me I have previously tried to take control over fundraising for my mission trip. I wanted the control and I wouldn’t let go. Finally last week, after being so physically, mentally, and emotionally drained, I prayed that God would take control over fundraising for the World Race. And God has been answering that prayer ten-fold in the past week more than I could ever imagine.
Thank you all again for your prayers and support! Please continue to pray for me and my squad as we are quickly approaching training camp in less than a month and then officially leaving at the end of June for our first country, South Africa!
