REMEMBER HOW COOL GOD IS?!
Y’all… I started my fundraising on July 2nd with the daunting task to raise $5,000 by July 22nd.
Through a lot of prayer, hustle, crying, and trusting God… I HAVE REACHED MY GOAL.
But here’s the thing… not only did I reach my goal of $5,000.
God TOTALLY CONFIRMED my calling on the World Race. When He calls us to step up, He provides ABUNDANTLY.
I have always heard that God provides abundantly… but I don’t think I have ever experienced it in this capacity.

Y’all… this is NOT me. This is purely God. I am not capable of this.
20 days… $10,500… this is DEVINE INTERVENTION.
For me, this is TOTALLY a confirmation that I am supposed to go on the World Race! I am so thrilled!! He called me to go, and He provided the way! God is so good at providing when we walk in faith and not by sight— when it doesn’t make earthly sense but He’s asking us to obey and trust His supernatural ways… trust that He WILL provide. AND…. He will provide ABUNDANTLY!
I have been so encouraged by people’s messages– whether I barely know you or you are a dear friend, your support and encouragement has meant the world to me throughout this process! I am SO thankful. Your messages have kept me going, and God is totally speaking through you to encourage me in the moments I need it most!! Thank you for taking part in sending me to serve the nations!!

Ready for the curveball?

I was asked to switch routes.
I was originally waitlisted on Route 2 (Asia, Africa, South America), and I received an email at midnight on Tuesday night 7/19…. (the same day I got a huge donation in that put me well over my goal)… telling me that I needed to switch routes because they were finalizing the route numbers.
So… I had to pick another route! I originally was praying between Route 2 & Route 3, and God was leading me back to Route 3. I was also praying through Route 4 (leaving in January 2017).
Hey– you know the best way to make decisions? Pray, seek counsel, read the Word, write lists, and externalize fears/thoughts/desires out loud.
I believe there is protection + blessing in seeking wise counsel. I asked people who know my heart to pray over my discernment. I spent time in prayer. I journaled and wrote down all of the pros/cons. I read Scripture. I had a conversation with God. I wrote down the ways God provided, and sure enough… God made it SO clear I was supposed to go on Route 3 this October!
And when I accepted, I felt peace. Yup. That’s God! Peace comes from discernment that is rooted in God.
So wanna hear something fun? For those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE wolves. Guess what? The Route 3 team calls themselves the Wolfpack… so YOU KNOW I’m on the right squad!! 😉
Alright Kels…. so where are you going?
Route 3 October 2016 [O Squad]: I’m going to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya!
I am SO excited for this new adventure!! Please be praying for our squad family, for my heart and mind as I prepare mentally for training camp (August 10-20), for cool conversations, for the people we will come in contact with in each country, for safety, and for the rest of my financial fundraising (need to raise $5,000!)
