I recently (ish) wrote a blog asking “What would you do?” and honestly, I am still not sure I know what I would do in many of those situations. I do not have all the answers, some of the answers, any of the answers – and I am not the answer. But I have answered the call to go and serve.
I am preparing myself for Greece every way I can. And I am opening my heart.
I know that is not much to go off of. I am not sure what I will be asked to do in Greece, what I will see, how I will react or how I will serve my team.
I do know that God has this under control. Sometimes that is hard to believe in difficult situations, but I know it is truth and I am choosing to believe and to put all my trust in Him in this situation. He knows the situation better, He knows the volunteers, He knows the needs, He knows the refugees, He knows me – He knows it all.
I am choosing to trust God, that He is preparing me for the situation, He is preparing my team and others. I am willing to serve in whatever is asked.
Alone, we cannot save the world, but together we can make it a better place by sharing God’s love with all we meet along the way. Please pray for us as we travel and server. We are still raising money for this trip, would you consider making a financial contribution to our Greece trip? http://give.adventures.org/campaign.asp?campaignID=1072
