he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made
perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about
my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.That
is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in
hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I
am strong.
- PRAY! Prayer is the most powerful way you can help. Please, please, please let me know if you’re willing to commit to
regular prayer throughout my trip and I can update you with specific
things to pray about. - Send money! One time only or monthly donations can be made online (Look to the left for a link to donate) or through the mail (Contact me if you would like to mail in a check and I will get you a support card to be included) Donations are tax deductible!
- Threads of Hope Bracelets! I am selling them as part of a fund raising effort for the trip. They are handmade in the Philippines, and half the money goes back to Threads of Hope to supply the families who make them with a reliable, honorable income. Threads of Hope
has been incredible. They have been working with many world racers to
help raise funds, and have recently become a stop on the World Race for
racers in the Philippines! The bracelets are $2 each, or 3 for $5. Contact me if you are interested in buying bracelets! I have them on me at all times, and am also willing to mail them!

- Suubi Necklaces! Light Gives Heat has been gracious enough to work with me, allowing me to sell these beautiful Suubi necklaces as a fundraiser. Half the money goes to fund my trip, and the other half goes back to Light Gives Heat. They are handmade in Uganda out of recycled paper, and are each unique! I have multiple styles, ranging from $15 to $20. Please contact me if you’re interested. It is the same price on their website, but this way you also support my trip, and don’t have to pay for shipping!

- There are MANY more ways you can help, whether it be encouragement, fund raising ideas, sharing what I am doing by word of mouth, helping me get a hold of gear, or other creative ideas. I need any help I can get – not just financially!
