Today is October 1st, 2016
I am officially in double digits until I leave. 97 days until launch, and 17 days until training camp.
I have set fundraising goals for the next three months, and October is going to be all about FUNdraising.
This month my goal is to raise: $3,332 which will make me 59% funded, and essentially meet my second deadline.
How will we have fun while meeting that goal you ask?
Let me explain: I have three fundraisers I would love for you to participate in this month.
- Adopt – a – country
- Adopt – a – square
- T Shirts
You can read about them below and decide which one fits the best for you. Look for the text in orange to see how it will be FUN!
T Shirts
I still have t-shirts (and tank tops) left to sell! They are $20 each, and I need to get these sold ASAP before I leave the country. I will have the availability of sizes listed below the respective shirt. Anyone who buys a shirt during the month of October will be entered in a drawing!
***The lucky winner will get a postcard and update from every country I live in.
Availability:

To purchase a T-Shirt:
1) please send $20 ($24 if you need it shipped) to https://www.paypal.me/kelsaysingleton or mail me a check to 8800 W US HWY 60 APT 4 Canyon TX 79015
2) Email/text/message me what size you want and any address it needs to be mailed to. I can also meet in Amarillo/Canyon or Stephenville/Granbury/Ft Worth area.

Adopt – a – country
Adopting a country means that you’ll be the proud parent of a mason jar dedicated to a specific country that I will live in while on the World Race. More than that though, I ask that you pray for the country and the work that God is doing there. I’ll place some information about the country in there to help you pray specifically for that country. During the month of October, fill the jar with any money or spare change you’d like to donate. Feel free to add notes and prayers in the jar as well for me to open in that country!
It costs $20 to purchase a country. By November 30th, I ask that you get it back to me filled with the spare change/money.
***The person who sends back the most change/money in their jar will get a souvenir from a country of their choice!
I have six countries left for adoption:
Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Indonesia, Romania, and Kosovo
To purchase a country:
1. Click “donate” in the upper right hand corner and put in the amount of $20 for a one-time donation (If you need your jar to be shipped to your location, please add $5.00 to your donation so I can mail it to you)
2. Email me which country you would like to represent! [email protected]
Adopt – A – Square
This fundraiser means that you can be a proud parent of a numerical square; a less time intensive adoption. (:
There are 100 squares and each one of them represents an amount of money. For example: square 12=$12 square 100=$100 Once a square is adopted, it is marked off of the board.
***I will also send you a picture of that day in field. So if you adopt square 23 I will send you a picture of my 23rd day in field. There is no limit to how many squares you can adopt.
To adopt a square:
1. Click “donate” in the upper right hand corner and put in the amount of which square you would like to adopt for a one-time donation. I will then mark your square off the board and update this blog on the available choices.
2. Please include your email on the donation so that I can email you your picture!
