Fundraising is hard, but it is also a very important part of my journey and ministry just like serving the sick, poor, hopeless, and orphaned. I need both the financial support and prayer support from family, friends, Church partners, and community so I can share the stories of what God is doing all over the world. I want my journey to love others well, inspire them, give hope, and freely give what has freely been given. Help me serve others with the love and good news of the salvation and hope that is available in Jesus Christ.
I also want you to have complete transparency from me about your donations. So if you have any questions at all or would just like to meet up to hear about what I am doing, please email me at [email protected]
Here are some things I want to share with my donors:
Partnering with me is an amazing opportunity to change lives
Let me go be your ambassador to nations.
I will be your hands and feet to serve others with the love and good news of the salvation and hope that is available in Jesus Christ. There is so much opportunity to further the Kingdom as I travel to these 11 countries, but I cannot do it without YOU! Your contribution is more important than my passion to serve others – it is ESSENTIAL to the entire journey. Your loving donation enables me to serve, and bring ACTION to Christ’s love.
Fundraising is necessary – and biblical
Through fundraising I get to build a network of people who will be my partners in ministry. This is about connecting the entire Church in ministry to every nation. I am asking you to support me because I want to invite you into being part of my journey and ministry so that I can share God’s good works to those who are investing their prayers, time, and money in sending me out. Fundraising is about the body of Christ joining together to see God’s Kingdom come.
I want you to know WHERE you money is going, and what the contribution is for.
Let me explain to you how much I need, by when, and where it will all go:
$5,000 due September 23rd
$10,00 due December 12th
13,000 due February 28th
$16,617 due April 30th
$3,000 for additional expenses not covered in the $16,617 include:
travel to and from training camp, launch, and return from The World Race, vaccinations, malaria pills, and required gear (backpacks, tent, sleeping bag, headlamp, etc.)
Here is how the money breaks down:
So where am I now?
$2,606 (not all of it shows because it takes the system a few days to process) of $16,617 raised (15.68% funded)
>>>>To attend training camp and continue on the race, I have to meet my first deadline of $5,000 by September 23rd<<<<
When I was accepted to The World Race I took on full responsibility to raise this amount of money. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t stressful, but I know the Lord is faithful and will provide. I started fundraising in July and have already raised $2,606 between t-shirt sales, a community garage sale, loyal donors, and other various fundraisers. (If you want to buy a t-shirt they are still available! $20 each) I am in awe at how many people have a heart for the Lord’s work and his people. THANK YOU to everyone that has supported me thus far, it has been such an inspiration and a blessing to see the Lord alive and working in so many people.
How will I reach my September goal?
I need the support from family, friends, local churches, and the community.
