John and Lana felt compelled to go speak to a man standing back by the store. Come to find out, he in fact had a rainbow on his shirt with waves of water and images of peoples faces. Just what John had seen in his prayer. Further confirmation that we were hearing God’s voice and being obedient to Him. The blessings continued in meeting the some of the family that lived in that house and being able to pray for them and pray blessings over their home. Francisco, the brother in law of the resident, said that there were probably many people in that neighborhood that would welcome our presence. John and Lana talked with Aaron for a while and got his contact information. Aaron was a landscaper and it was actually a blessing that it was raining that day, otherwise he wouldn’t have been there. We wouldn’t have met him. Aaron also asked for help finding a local church so we gave his contact information to local people with AIM that help with that ministry so he can find a place to worship in his community.
It definitely stretched all of us in ways we hadn’t been stretched before. I am confident we are growing closer in spirit to God, as well as more community as a team which will in turn help us to grow others closer to Christ.
