So I still need $476 to be able to go to training camp with my squad and I need it in the next 5 days! If you’re reading this and are able to give, ANY amount would be so greatly appreciated! If just 5 people give $100 or 10 give $50 or 24 give $20 I’ll meet my deadline.
Last night I got a message from another girl on my squad saying she knew a girl who did the race before who was looking to sell her gear cheap. Since I didn’t have any gear yet I was very interested in chatting with her to see what she still had and wanted to sell. I was able to get in touch with her last night and GUESS WHAT?!?!?! She is giving me a pack, tent, and sleeping pad FOR FREE. I was in shock. And so very thankful. She went on to tell me that people had given them to her and she in turn wanted to bless another racer with them since she was no longer in need of them. Praise Jesus!
Also this week on Saturday the 20th I have a fundraising event! If y’all are in or near the Columbia, SC area you should definitely come out to Tin Roof for Battle of the Bands! There are 6 crazy talented local bands playing. Entry is $5 at the door and you will get one ticket per person to vote for your favorite band. I’m so thankful for the musician friends I have that are willing to help out by using their gifts and talents.
