ah, here is my new mountain woman “style”!
Yikes toto, this girl is a long way from vegas… 
The agepetos girls are staying together in a small hostel with a few other team mates, while the rest of the team is staying at the local church we are working with. jose’s church, an on fire 24 year old pastor!
we spent the last week doing door to door and other outreach ministries in the near by town of tumpa. a thriving metropolis, let me tell ya! really, each day we walk past a beautiful river through the mountains to tumpa.
We are often greeted by the local women following their donkeys, loaded down with supplies and harvest from their crops.

we are super blessed to have part of the media team here in the mountains with us!!! here is a shot of erin and i. this is the view that we get to take in every morning! look closely, those are not clouds, they are snow capped mountains in the background!!!
Please keep our ministry in your prayers. please pray for this communities of mushu and tumpa. the people here are genuine, loving, and hungry for the lord. many have been blinded by the spirit of idolatry and religion. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of believers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 corinthians 4:4 we are called to introduce them to a real, passionate, intimate, purposeful relationship with jesus christ! we will be returning to tumpa next week to follow up with the many people who invited us to return to come back and visit with them. they want to learn more about the bible, they want to know jesus christ! please keep praying for all of us!
one final note, we need to raise support to purchase bibles. this is a very poor community. most of the men, woman, and even children, work all day in small fields to produce crops for sale in small markets. many of the new believers, your brothers and sisters in christ, do not have their own bibles. we believe we can purchase bibles for about $5 – $7 each. please click here to make a donation to give a bible to a family in the mountains of Peru and type Kelly Ramsey – Peru Bibles in the “Person or Team” space.
