This week in Costa Rica…
Agapetos held our first open-air preaching last week. Eric gave am amazing message that spoke to the hearts of men in this community who really needed it. Several come to the Lord that day. Praise God.
Scott, Look out, I am trying out my acting gift as well
. We preformed the drama “Set Me Free” in the plaza as well. I played the part of a girl tormented my demons until she is set free by the blood and love of Jesus Christ. Hmmm, not sure I had to “act” to much there. The drama is powerful, and it really speaks to my heart. I know the freedom of Christ, and I am falling more and more in love with my Savior every day.
We spent the weekend at the beach… AMEN JESUS. It was such a blessing. The ocean heals my soul. Although, I was not given a supernatural gift of surfing this trip, and I have a small lump on my head to prove it. (really small mom, I promise).
I have spent a lot of time resting in the Lord this week. I have found that “rest” is actually an active choice that I have to make moment to moment. To choose to step back, to not react, to surrender to the Lord. I am learning to hear his voice more and more clearly each day.
