Hi Everyone!!
Well, I am happy to tell you that our squad has made it safely to Asia, our final continent on the world race! (so crazy to me…) We are currently in Malaysia. We arrived here a little over a week ago, and are staying in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. It is an amazing city, and we have had a great time exploring. We even got to go on a little city tour and see some of the sites. It is a very interesting city, and is home to a wide variety of Asian culture.

I suppose that before I continue, I should tell you that we have done some more team changes for the rest of the race. Our leaders decided that it would be beneficial to the whole squad to switch up the teams for the last leg of the race. Although I love my team Bamboo dearly and will always see them as my family, I am very excited for my new team. We have already been having a great time together, and I can tell that we will really challenge each other to grow for the remainer of the race. So… without further ado, my new team members are:

Kimi Cantrell- check out her blog HERE.
Warren Cheely- check out his blog HERE.
Jered and Amy Christian- Check out their blogs HERE and HERE.

I hope that you will take the time to go to their blogs and learn more about them. They are all amazing people, and I am excited to spend the rest of the race with them!

This month, our team is working with a wonderful couple in the city who run a restaraunt as a part of their ministry. We are living above the restaraunt, and helping them out. Several members of their waiting staff also live above the restaurant, so it has been really neat to get to know and spend time with them. Some of them are new believers, while some are still searching. Please keep the restaraunt and its workers in your prayers!

We have also been able to help them with other ministries they are involved in. Last weekend, we traveled to a town about an hour and a half outside of the city. We worked with the native people, and traveled around to different churches to encourage the believers. We had a good time sharing with them and playing with the kids! (and seeing the BEAUTIFUL scenery!)

This week, we have also done some other ministry in the city. We were able to visit a nursing home and share with the residents. One of the ladies there actually accepted Christ, which is really incredible, so praise God for that! We were also able to go visit a local kindergarten and play with the adorable children there.

Thankfully, we have much better internet access this month, so hopefully I will be able to do a better job at keeping you posted on what we are up to. So far, everything is going well, and I am really enjoying being in Asia. I can’t believe we only have 2 1/2 months left on the race! Please continue to keep us in your prayers and I will write more soon! Love you all!
