Hey Everyone! So due to the political situation in Honduras, our team ended up extending our stay in Guatemala for the week. We have been staying in Antigua, which is a really beautiful little town, about an hour outside of Guatemala City.

The October 08 squad has been here as well, and we have been doing a joint debrief with them. It has been really cool to spend time with a group who only has two months left in their journey. We have had a good time, exploring Antigua and having some time to relax, reflect, and worship. We also participated in our first “race day.” This basically means that all of the teams competed in a big scavenger hunt yesterday all over Antigua. Team Neon sadly did not win (ok we lost…) but we still had a good time!

Today I did probably one of the most adventurous things of my life- I hiked an active volcano! It was a very strenuous hike (in my opinion) and my body hates me right now, but it was really amazing! We roasted marshmellows on the top, and the view was incredible. (and windy as you can see by the pictures!)

And this picture is for you Sam!! Audrey and I both love you mucho and wish you were here with us!!!

Ok, that’s it for now! We are headed to Nicaragua tomorrow. My team and team Azariah will be working together this month. We are working at an orphanage, and it sounds like it should be a really neat ministry. Please pray for us as we travel tomorrow! LOVE!!!
