Hey Everyone! Ok, so about me- here goes…
My name is Kelly. I am 22 years old and a recent graduate of Clemson University in SC. I was actually born in Garland, TX (right outside of Dallas). We moved to Portland, Oregon when I was a year old, where my parents started a church. We lived in Oregon until I was five years old when we moved to Nashville, TN, which I would consider my home.
I grew up in a very Christian home, probably about as Christian as they come. I love my family a whole lot. I have wonderful parents, and I will always be grateful for the upbringing I recieved and the example my parents set. My dad works for Lifeway Christian Resources any my mom teaches English as a second language. I also have an older sister, Courtney, who is three years older than me, and has always been one of my biggest role models. She lives in Columbia, SC with her husband, Adam. Courtney teaches 7th grade English and Adam is a college minister at their church.

Best friends from high school
So I basically grew up in Nashville, well really
Franklin, which is about 20 minutes south of
Nashville. I love Tennessee, and am always reminded of that fact every time I come home.
I had a great high school experience, and was
blessed with a really wonderful church and youth group. While I accepted Christ as a child, my youth group experience really helped me develop a personal walk with the Lord. I have several life-long friends from home who I love dearly and am always excited to see.
I graduated from high school in 05, and followed my older sister to Clemson University in Clemson, SC. While I started out as an education major, I eventually changed to Sociology. I graduated this December, a semester early, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. I loved my time at Clemson, and was lucky enough to make some really wonderful friends. College was a rollar coaster with really high highs and really low lows, but God continually proved Himself faithful, and I grew more than I ever knew I would. I am so grateful for my time at Clemson, and all of the people I met and the experiences I had. I had originally planned on staying in Clemson in the Spring. However, after getting accepted to this trip, I made the tough decision to come home for the semester to save money. And those who know me know it wasn’t an easy decison. (I changed my mind about 18 times.) But I am finally confident that I am where I am supposed to be, and I am grateful to have an extra semester to prepare for this trip. I am so excited for this next chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me. I know it is going to be amazing!
