Dear Friends and Family,
This week marks the halfway point of my World Race! It also marks one year since I was officially accepted to participate in the World Race. I was so excited and honored to be chosen to participate, but little did I know how much God would change me and how many opportunities He would give me to participate in His plan to change the world.
First, I need to thank YOU! I have had so many incredible moments on the Race. Some of my favorites include: reading the Bible with a neglected orphan in El Salvador, cooking for and serving local missionaries in Bulgaria, providing speech therapy services to neglected children with cerebral palsy in Honduras, and declaring to children in a local slum in Zambia that God loves them. None of these would have been possible without your prayers, encouragement, and financial support! I appreciate you!
Secondly, I need to ask for your continued support. I still have 5 and ½ months left and there are over 11 million AIDS orphans in sub-Saharan Africa and over 190 million Buddhists in SouthEast Asia who need to hear about the love of Christ and I’m convinced God wants to use me to continue to declare the Kingdom of God to the nations.
In order for my dream of finishing the Race to happen, I need your prayers. Although the past 5 and ½ months have been filled with incredible moments, they have also been filled with moments that are exhausting, discouraging, and heart-breaking. I need your prayers for God to give me supernatural strength and encouragement when I need it most.
I also need continued financial support. My final deadline for the total of $16,250 is July 1st. Currently, I’m $4,400 away from being fully-funded. In order to continue to stay on the mission field, I need to have all monies turned in by the 1st of July, just two weeks away.
