I figure if you’re going to be partnering with me/living vicariously through me/following my journey around the world, then you should probably know some useless facts about who I am, right? Here we go!

(These are going to be mostly random facts, not deep ones. Deep ones are for blogs at a later time!)

1. I love God. (Obviously had to put that first.)

2. I’m obsessed with teeth. – I will always look a persons teeth before ANYTHING else. I can tell you what the teeth of just about any person I’ve met look like…it’s kind of a weird thing, and my friends make fun of me frequently. But it’s whatever.

3. I graduated from the “most potentially dangerous” high school in Oregon. – It was intense. Lots of gangs, fighting, and other strange things. However, I loved every second of it, and no I never felt like I was going to get stabbed.

4. Some of the gangsters in high school referred to me as “Casper”, because I was the “friendly white person”. Haha! Still makes me laugh to this day!

5. I hate sponges. –  Specifically, the ones you wash dishes with. Touching them makes me nauseous. They’re basically a colony of germs, and when you “wash” dishes with them I imagine germs being spread all over my “clean” dishes. Ew. Ew. Ew.

6. I’m obsessed with cereal. – Give me a huge bag of knock-off Frosty Flakes and some soy milk, and I’ll be set for weeks. I could eat that stuff for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Nom.

7. I’m going to name my first daughter Abigail. – She is the only woman specifically described as “beautiful and intelligent” in the Bible, and I admire her submission to authority. I’m trusting my future will like it as well.

8. I’m extremely logical. – This can’t be explained. If you know me, you understand this completely.

9. I LOVE ADVENTURE. – I want to climb everything, explore everything, and discover everything else.

10. My favorite movie is Gladiator. – Next in line is Tangled. Gladiator will always be #1 though, even over a princess movie.

11. I’m always on the hunt for a new coffee shop. – Love the atmosphere. And when they can do fancy designs in the foam of my drink, that’s an extra bonus.

12. I’m SO sarcastic. – If you understand my humor, and have similar humor…we will be great friends. I think it’s hilarious! However, some people don’t get it and think I’m a jerk. I often have to explain myself. Oops. I’m working on it.

13. I have 4 tattoos. – One on the top of my foot, left forearm, left wrist, and across the back of my shoulders. Also, I want many more.

14. I have my nose pierced twice. – It’s rad.

15.  When I was young, I really wanted a bearded dragon. – Normal girls wanted ponies. Nope, I wanted a small lizard. Ponies smell weird, and lizards are cool.

16. I’d rather be barefoot. – I hate shoes. Always have, always will. I don’t like socks either. My feet like to be free!

17. My Mom & Step-Dad live in Hawaii. – Cool, right? I get to visit them whenever I want, and will someday inherit 3 acres of Hawaiian jungle. I live a cool life.

18. I was a Sheriff Cadet for a year. – Yeah, I trained to be a cop. Arrested some people, handcuffed, graduated from the academy, and shot stuff. And yes, I can probably beat you up.

19. When people see a unicorn, they immediately think of me. – I’m not sure how this started, to be quite honest. It’s just always been. I have acquired many unicorn items (never bought one myself), and there are frequently Facebook posts on my wall about various unicorn things. It’s quite fun!

20. My Grandma is going to dye her hair pink for all my major life events. – College graduation, wedding, birth of my children, etc. I’m a blessed lady.

21. Oh, my favorite color is pink. And glitter. – Everything looks better in pink, and you can never have too much glitter. I like to make it rain…with glitter.

22. I’m a Pharmacy Technician. – I love my job! 🙂 I give people drugs all day long… legally! My patients are the cutest things ever, and helping them is so rewarding!

23. I love eggs. – I don’t care how they’re cooked. Fried, scrambled, in something.. doesn’t matter. So so good.

24. I hate the smell of farm. – I can’t emphasize this enough. I really, really, really, really, hate it. It makes me physically ill.

25. I paid off my first car when I was 17, by myself. – It was a 2008, Mazda 6i Sport. It was beautiful, and I paid for it with my own money. Then I sold it to pay for college. Ugh.

26. I’ve never tasted alcohol. – Literally, never. It’s been my life goal to never have a drop of it touch my tongue. And I’ve succeeded thus far. I’ve made it past the peer pressure years, so I figure I’ll keep going.

27. I love documentaries. – I’d rather watch those than real movies. So much to learn, so little time.

28. I drink energy drink like they’re going out of style. – Monster is my drink of choice, but I’ll go for any caffeinated beverage. Someday I’ll probably just convert to an i.v. of caffeine. But for now, monsters will do.

29. I ran into a parked car with my bike when I was 10. – True story. Knocked out the tail light, destroyed my bike, and was bleeding everywhere. My first documented blonde moment.

30. I’m not a red-roses & a movie type of girl. – I’d rather have a mud fight, climb up a cliff, or explore the forest. Don’t get me wrong, roses and movies are nice sometimes, but typically not my thing. Cliche isn’t impressive. Adventure is.

31. I like climbing things. – Trees, building, on-top of roofs, etc. You name it, i’ll climb if I can.

32. I’m graduating from Bible College in May! – I basically majored in Jesus. But I get a sweet degree that sounds fancy! Hooray!

33. I really like twirling. – This could be in a field, the street, or practically anywhere. It’s quite freeing.

34. I’m single. – Why you ask? Because I have high standards, and most guys don’t impress me. It’s rare for a guy to catch my attention, so when I finally date someone, you’ll know he’s extra special & it’s of God. 🙂

35. I really like working. Maybe too much. – My record work week is 86 hours. Working on not being a workaholic (pun intended). Ha! But, seriously.

36. I LOVE inner-city kids. – Something about them brings an unexplainable joy to me. I could spend every day with them, and never get sick of it!

37. My first job was at Payless ShoeSource. – I was pretty boss at selling people things they didn’t need.

38. The sky fascinates me. – I probably have more pictures of the sky on my phone than anything else. Including selfies, which is saying a lot, coming from a girl in her 20’s.

39. I have a bandana collection. – Like wearing them with a little bow on top. Like Tupac, except not associated with him.

40. I brought a Satanist to youth group – True story. 11th grade, his name was Jimmy. He only came once, but that’s enough for him to hear about Jesus. Still pray for him.

41. I LOVE THE OCEAN. – Take me to the ocean, and we’ll be best friends.

42. I’m the assistant to the Dean of Ministry at my college. – It’s been quite the amazing learning experience! Great job, great boss, and great experience.

43. I had Scoliosis surgery when I was 12.  – I have a ton of metal in my spine now, and a beast scar that goes from my neck to my butt. I’m basically a robot.

44. I’m a nerd at heart. – Talk to me about math, science, and the newest thing you saw on a documentary and I’ll be your friend right away.

45. I can’t wait to be a wife/mother. – The idea of being able to serve and love my husband/children sounds so exciting! I’m definitely not ready now, but I can’t wait to see what God has planned for me in this area!

46. I moved 3,000 miles away from home, by myself, to NY 3 years ago. – God told me to, so I did. And it’s been wonderful ever since.

47. I like folding laundry. – Seriously. It’s weird, I know. But it’s relaxing to me… everything neat and organized is how I like it!

48. I’m highlighter-happy. – I like color-coding everything, and planning.

49. I never want to retire. – There’s too many places to see, and too many things to do. Getting old in one place or traveling for no reason sounds stupid to me. Too many people need Jesus for that!

50. I want to go to every continent in my lifetime, to share Jesus. – Even Antarctica. The scientists down there need the Gospel too!

51. I’m going on the WORLD RACE! – Guys. I’m seriously traveling the world, living out of a backpack, and sharing Jesus in 11 countries. So crazy, and so wonderful.
