JUMP: It is that one second of feeling absolute freedom with nothing holding you back;

That is the only way to describe this journey I am about to embark upon
so here I go-
with BOTH feet!
Who am I? Youngest of 3 with two wonderful parents who I
can never say THANK YOU to enough for raising me into the
woman I am today! I have five (soon to be 6!) neices and
nephews whom I love to pieces and do not see nearly enough.
I have two older sisters who are also
some of my best friends and confidantes.
What do I do? I get to have F U N everyday!
That is right, I teach elementary PE to 3-5 graders.
So of course, I am the coolest thing around. I also
coach a wheelchair handball team with the most amazing kids. I have been teaching at a local
university as well so officially I am a professor!
Where did I come from? I grew up in small town Pennsylvania
that is surrounded by cornfields…and a lot of Amish.
We do however, have the best local market called the
Gratz Auction. I am willing to put money down it is the best
one in the WORLD and I am going to put this to the test
this on the Race! Graduated with about 100 people and
then went to Sippery Rock University for college. GO ROCK!
I played soccer there for all four years and it was one of the
best decisions of my life. It had a huge impact on my life and
where I received my first nickname…with 3 Kellys coming in the same year,
all freshmen, we were bound to be called something! Taught high school, returned to school to get my masters, back to SRU to work
for a year, and then that brings me to Columbus, GA.
I am SO excited to see where the Race takes me and how far it stretches my comfort zone. I always like a challenge and I say bring it on! – J U M P!!
