I’m in Antigua, Guatemala! The trip was great, and I’m stoked to be here. Immediately I was reminded of my semester in Ecuador and had so much joy to be once again in Latin American culture. I love it.

I’m finally living the World Race! The Lord has faithfully provided the way to get here and given me this incredible opportunity to serve Him for the next 11 months. I want to see my desire to love the lost and broken increased. I’m expecting the Lord to do BIG things. I have boldness and courage because I have the Holy Spirit. Being surrounded by such a strong community, I’m ready to throw off everything that hinders and run the race marked out for me.

The past couple days have been filled with training, worship, community, and rest. We’ll be in Antigua until Wednesday when our teams depart for our respective ministries.

Thank you.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for sending me.
Thank you for being part of what God is doing amongst the nations.

Prayer requests:

Team unity. To be building a strong and honest community now while we’re in Antigua, setting the pace for our ministry at Los Gozosos (see “First Ministry Placement”). Also for grace as we’re learning how to love one another.

Los Gozosos. Pray for the children and Maureen, the woman who runs the orphanage. Pray that our hearts would be eager to love these people!
