Hey guys,
Below is an email that I received today from a former college professor of mine that is very dear to my heart. She's an amazing woman of God who didn't have to go the extra mile with me but she did, and I'm forever grateful for it! My freshman year of college was full of chaos, sex, drinking, partying and identity crisis..it was then that God sent a tool into my life! Hope you're blessed by this!

It is such a blessing to hear from you. I was cleaning out my cache this weekend and came across an email from you. I paused to lift you up, and the next thing I knew you are traveling around the world. Wow! Hey, "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17). From what I understand, the parent tool must be harder than the other tool to sharpen the other tool. Iron becomes harder when everything is cut away but the edge. All the cares of this world have to be removed with just Jesus left to sharpen someone else. I remember you wondering why I was so nosy about your business…because all the cares of the world had been removed except to do what the Lord told me to do…which was "See her…go get her for me." You know now as the Lord has made you hard and sharpened to reach others that I did not get hard enough to sharpen until the Lord had removed the unnecessary from MY life that kept me from serving Him. I used to be too soft to use years before I knew you. Pass it on, sister. 🙂
