I don’t know about you, but asking for financial support in the total $16,617 is incredibly difficult. It has been a humbling experience that will forever top them all. However, I wouldn’t trade these last 6 months for all the riches on Earth. Why? Because God has blessed me. I’ve been given the most extraordinary opportunties to speak with people I probably wouldn’t have had the nerve to otherwise. I’ve had absolute strangers donate and ask nothing in return. There have been several high school classmates give eventhough I haven’t seen them in years. He is providing.

When I decided to go on the World Race, I pictured the women, children, and ministries in need throughout the countries on my route, but not once did it occur to me that my mission started here in the States. So, while it’s been awkward to continually ask for money, I have been given a unique look into the hearts of those that I surround myself and everyday I am amazed at how generous people can be. I’ll never be able to repay the sweet and kind donations I’ve recieved. Please know that I don’t take your financial support lightly and that some of you have given up something essential to your daily life just so I can go on this mission trip. But also know, that absolutely zero shame will be attached to anyone’s inability to give. Prayers are a completely acceptable form of currency.

Currently, I have several different fundraisers all at once and I just wanted to update you on what my needs still are, where I sit in my financial preparedness, and what I have to offer you for your in kind donations.

Current Needs

My next deadline is on December 16th and I am only $2,087 away from the $10,000 required amount. This means I am nearly half way funded!

While I do have a list of necessary equipment, without meeting this deadline, I am unable to even launch with my squad in January. Would you please consider partnering with me as I enter this new season with a donation of $10, $25, $50, or even $100? Or any amount you are comfortable in giving. It’s cliche, but true, so I will continue to say it, anything helps.

Fundraisers

The easiest way to donate is through my blog. Every cent goes to funding my trip and it is tax deductible. You can order anything from my fundraisers by emailing me ([email protected]) and leaving a donation in the appropriate amount.

I also have Venmo (@Kelli-Wymore) and accept checks if you feel more comfortable using those venues.

Threads of Hope

Threads of Hope is a non-profit organization helping to create a better future for families in the Philippines. Your purchase through Threads of Hope helps end that cycle. You provide dignified work for families so they can stick together, avoid exploitation, and pursue education to set a new trajectory for their lives. Your purchase supports over 300 families directly, while providing them with a thriving community through our projects in education, public health, community development, and spiritual growth.

This is a 50/50 fundraiser. I send 50% of the proceeds back to be sent to the Philippines and I am allowed to keep the other half for my mission trip.

Below are the options that I have available:

Camera Straps are $30

Wide Flat Bracelets are $6

Small Flat Bracelets are $4

Small Flat with Bead Bracelets are $4

Round Bracelets are $2

Adopt A Country

I still have 6 countries left to adopt. You pick the country and I provide the jar. This one is super easy. Basically, add the spare coins you have in your pocket at the end of the day, sitting in the cup holder in your car, or lost in the bottom of your purse. The person who raises the most money will win a small souvenir from their adopted country.

I still have:

EcuadorRomania, Malaysia, Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Cote d’Ivoire

Personalized Moleskine Journals

This one is really simple as well. I’ve been complimented, several times over the years, on my journals that I’ve drawn on and personalized. These are all Moleskine Brand journals. I take requests, but the list of countries on my World Race route have been the most popular. Others have also asked for scriptures, mass amounts of drums, or their favorite quote.

Large Journals (lined or blank pages) = $15

Small Journals (lined or blank pages) = $10

Fund the Nations T Shirt

I worked with one of the employees at Fund the Nations to come up with this t-shirt design. If I sell 50 shirts, I receive half of the money; the rest will pay for the cost of the shirts. If I sell 50, I will be able to raise $500 just with this fundraiser. Currently I’ve sold 8. I’d love for this to be successful and to even sell more than 50. Will you help? 🙂

Shirts are $20. sizes XXL and XXXL are $22

Shipping is an additional $3.

Thank you to all of my supporters. I’m amazed at your generosity. I am praying that God blesses you ten fold and I will forever be grateful for your donations.

With Love,

Kelli Wymore
