God has a plan for each one of us and it is so freaking awesome!! The journey that He brings us on, the people that He brings across our paths, and the places that he leads us to are so perfect. His timing is perfect. His plan is way bigger than the plan that I have for myself. I never, ever, would have imagined that at 23 I would have traveled around the whole world being a helping hand to people in need and sharing God’s love with people in 11 countries over 11 months.

It is so good to be home and feel the love of my family, the warm embraces of my parents, the comforts of my own room, and all the delicious food that I have missed. Also, I love that I am home for the holidays; it is the perfect time to reunite with all of the people I have missed so much over these past 11 months.

As wonderful as it is being home it is also really sad to be away from my team mates, my friends, and my O squad family who I have spent every day of the past 11 months with. It is the little things like going out to eat and not trying everyone’s food or sitting in church and not having my team there or watching a movie and not having to look around for a speaker to plug into a computer we are all gathered around. I miss my team and little things remind me of them often.

Since being home I have had the opportunity to share my stories with several people that I have met up with and it has been so great. I love being able to share all of the things that God did in my life and in the ministries I was a part of. I am looking forward to going to Honduras in 2 weeks with my family to serve at Impact Ministries International orphanage. It will be nice to escape the harsh winter and go to warm and sunny Honduras for a week.

I am also extremely excited to announce that I will be spending the first 3 months of 2014 leading a Passport trip through Adventures in Missions to Thailand. I will be leading a group of around 8 girls ages 18-22 to Thailand to spend time working with a ministry there. I do not know exactly what our ministry will entail yet but I am looking forward to the opportunity to influence the lives of my team and help them through their own journeys during the 3 months we will share together.

This next step of leading a trip in Thailand is all part of the beautiful journey that God has been leading me on. Each season of my life holds new opportunities to grow personally and minister to others. I hope that you will continue to follow me as my journey is far from over even though I have finished the World Race. The first step in making this trip to Thailand happen is to start fundraising. I need to raise an additional $1,600 to fully fund the next journey that the Lord is taking me on. If you would like to continue to support me and be a part of what God is doing in Thailand you can do so through my blog or by making checks payable to Adventures in Missions and sending them to P.O. Box 742570 Atlanta, GA 30374.

I am so blessed to be entrusted with leading a team and helping with the ministry that is happening in Thailand. Thank you for all of your support, it would not be possible without you.
