Hey there 🙂 My name is Kelli. I am originally from Michigan and currently reside in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. I love Jesus, and He is everything. He’s Life. I’m seeking and following after the heart of God, and overseas missions is what He has called me to.
I love life and people and serving. God has me here in Kenya with a team called 61project. Our team originally formed when a few of us went on a short-term trip in 2010, saw a need in the Internally Displaced People (IDP) camp, caught God’s vision for what He wanted to do there and what He wanted for them, and joined Him in it! Long story short, we came back to the States, formed a team, planned for half a year, fund raised, and came to Kenya! But that was just the beginning. There have been a lot of twists and turns and changes since then, but God is moving in this country, and we just want to be part of it!
So feel free to read, ask me questions, etc. I resolve to blog more with not only happenings in Kenya, but also about things that are happening within me, thoughts I have, things I’m struggling with, and so on. I would like this blog to depict the journey the Lord has me on. Feel free to come along for the ride!
