On the World Race we have team time 6 days a week. It is a time we set aside to spend with the team as a whole. On my team, we each lead a day.

Janelle had the brilliant idea to make pizza as a team one day so the six of us crowded into a tiny kitchen and each took a task. Mine was to make the pizza dough.

We spent the time in the hot kitchen blasting Taylor Swift and dancing around while we cooked. The kitchen probably looked like a chaotic explosion of activity and flour from an outsider. To us though, it was team bounding. It was one of the best team times we have ever had!

The pizza dough recipe involves shaking the dough instead of mixing it so we passed the Dutch Oven around and shook the dough like crazy while we danced! It was a time of laughter, joy, and excitement because Pizza is a rarity on the race.

Here is how you can make Shake Pizza Dough.

2 cups of self rising flour
125ml cooking oil (1/2cup)
150ml boiling water (1/2c + 2T)
1/2 t salt

Add dry ingredients to boiling water, put a lid on bowl or pot, shake until dough forms a ball.
Put on a cookie sheet
Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius
