Albania is a very unique country with a unique history! Because of this Albanian culture is distinct and different from the culture around it.
Albania sits on the Mediterranean and the food is a product of its location. You can find excellent seafood there and of course Tomatoes!
The People of Albania have been left poor and in cities that are falling apart. The country struggles with illiteracy and with human trafficking. It is common for Albania women to be sex trafficked, men to be trafficked for labor, and children to be trafficked or forced into begging. The people of Albania are starving for the hope and freedom that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!
