Ok I am spewing out blogs like crazy right now, sorry I am overflowing your inboxes. This is what happens when lots of things happen and there is no internet.

So…month three debrief has occurred. We stayed on an island in Poneloya and tented on the beach. I literally woke up and saw the ocean in front of me.

It was awesome and really hot and you couldn’t walk barefoot without the skin on your feet burning off since it was a black sand beach. Well at debrief a few things happened, we relaxed in preparation for Thailand and team changes occurred.

This means that after Thailand our two alumni squad leaders will be leaving us. This month they are training three team leaders to be raised up into our new squad leaders. Ryan Banko, my pervious team leader, Thomas Wensil, and Kayla Spencer are our new squad leaders!!! Raise them up in prayer.

Team changes are usually minimal, but our squad has gotten shaken around like a BINGO ball and every team is drastically changed. It was really hard leaving my old team, but I know that God is going to use my new team to reach the nations and we are all going to grow together so much.

My new team is not as diverse as my old one. We have pretty similar chill personalities and we get along right away, where as my old team hated each other at first (you literally had to FORCE us to hang out). God worked so much in team Ignite that we didn’t even want a team change by the end (how crazy).

Well here is my new team:

Team Leader:  Wade Carlton

Our Married Couple: Paul and Katrina Annunziello

Our Chef: Emma Halstead

The Man of One Liners: Dan Lidwin

The Finance Person: Me

Our name is odd, The Plunge. If you thought of a plunger first you aren’t alone. I thought of a poopy stocked up toilet, but the boys somehow didn’t. Well this name was decided on because of our desire to grow deeper with one another and with the Lord, for the depths of the ocean which has become so real to some of us, and because it is short and sweet and is funny to say.

Please be praying for our new team as we start this new adventure. This is a time of huge transitions for all of us. We are transitioning to a new continent, to a new time zone, to a new year, to a new team, and to new squad leaders. And be praying for our safety as we travel to Thailand. I am currently writing this blog on the plane from Nicaragua to Atlanta where we will be flying to LAX to South Korea and finally to Thailand. Three full days of traveling and sitting around, which will probably turn into a blog so stay tuned.

I am currently in Seoul, South Korea … yayyy to 12 hour layovers! Next stop Thailand!!!!!
