The first couple of day in Trujillo was spent in Debrief. Debrief consisted of spending time together, exploring the new city, and letting go of past events that have been haunting us and holding us back from spiritual growth.

Thursday’s theme was Noah’s Ark! It was great to talk about God’s promise with the children. Fridays theme is Daniel and the Lions Den.
Each team has been in charge of a station for the kids to visit. The different stations consist of Story Time, songs, arts and crafts, games, and snack time. Each day we have had around 110 kids!
Savage ministry is reaching hundreds of people each week whether it be adults or
Children.
The rest of our time in Peru will look a lot different than this week has. We will be preaching at church services, leading youth group, and working with the children at the free christian school that Savage Ministries has offered to the children. Each child has been sponsored for the year which alleviates pressure of having to pay for an education for the child. The average cost of a school in Peru is 60 soles (around $20) a year which can be difficult for the parents to come up with.
All of the work that I have been doing is not possible without partners from the USA. Partnering with me will keep me in the field, reaching more people each day and sharing with them the love of Christ. To partner on this mission trip with me, click the support me tab on the left, share my blog with your friends and pray for my team, my squad and myself.
Thank you for the support I have been receiving so far! I definitely have been feeling your prayers!
Love,
Kaysea
