It’s hard to believe that almost a year ago I was packing up my life and moving to Georgia to participate in CGA.

This past year has been one of challenges, blessings, and growth. It has been a time of growing closer to the Lord and learning more of who I am in him. I have had the opportunity to build amazing friendships and live in a community that truly cares for one another. I have said goodbye to countless people and had others who have walked in my life and will always hold a permanent spot in my heart.

To think I was given all these blessings just because I was obedient and moved to Georgia.

Sometimes it’s easier to say yes to the Lord then other times. While moving to GA was hard I knew it was going to be good.  But the one area I have not been obedient in was in support raising.

My job at Adventures now consist of me talking on the phone every day to college students from 18-21 years old and helping them through the process of going and getting on the field. I can encourage them all day long and give them advice and encouragement for support raising, but i’m not practicing what I preach.

To be honest part of it is a pride issue, I hate asking for help. I feel like i’m almost 26 and should be taking care of myself. However I know that is not how we were created. Our heavenly father wants us living in community and helping one another. Which also means supporting missionaries.

While i’m not on the field right now, my mission field is sitting behind a desk making sure others are being sent out. That not only are they going to tell others about the Lord but their lives are being changed for the better also.

Which means I still need your partnership financially. I know the Lord has called me to GA until at least September of this year. Half of my salary is paid and the other half is support raised. I need $300 a month to come in for support, to be able to pay my bills and buy groceries.

I would ask you to prayerfully consider financially supporting me in this year. If you would like more details about how to donate or to talk more about what i’m doing at Adventures, please let me know, I would be more then happy to talk with you.

For all of you who have been supporting me throughout this journey, all I can say is…

Thank You!
