For the past four months I have been living in a community that I did not choose.

I did not pick who would be the people I would need, or what would take place during this time through these people.

As these four months come to an end I'm forced to reflect on things, and the biggest impact has been this community. Who four months ago were 25 strangers, who now I couldn't see not being in my life.

Just like any family there are good times and times where there is tension and struggle. However it is how you handle those times determines the relationships you will have with your family. We have chosen to embrace the tension and uncomfortable moments, while celebrating and rejoicing in the celebrations.

In four months we have grown as a community something that I didn't see coming when I came to Georgia. I came with the Mindset that I didn't need to be friends with 20 more people. But thank God that the Lord had another plan and I did need all these people. They have taught me so much and pulled even more out of me.

As of May 31st we all will never be in the same room again. This summer some people will be going home, leading 2 month trips, squad leading a World Race squad, or working in the office helping out where needed.

And while my heart hurts a bit for this season to come to an end and my family of four months to be dispersed throughout the world. I'm also filled with Joy at what my brothers and sisters in Christ will do for the kingdom in this new season.
