My name is KayLynn and i'm 23 years old. I have been in the things of the Lord since I was 14. I live in Coldwater, Michigan with my mom, stepdad Steve, grandma, and our exchange student Amanda. I'm working on getting a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Language Arts and Science at Western Michigan University. My dream job would be to teach in a 1st- 3rd grade class some day. I love children and to watch them grow, right now I work at a day care Grandma's Four Bears with toddlers who age from one to three.
I have a big passion for children and to show them the love of God. I believe every child should be given the chance to be loved and be successful. The last two summers I worked as a counselor at Springhill Christian Camps. This was a great experience where I lived in a teepee with another counselor and up to twelve girls a week. I believe it was great preperation for the World Race.
Family is also very important to me. I have 1 younger sister Amanda, and 2 younger stepsisters Emily and Kathy. My sister Amanda is getting married June 25th (which makes things hectic right now) to Neil who I will be honored to call my brother. My sister Emily has blessed me with the greatest gift of being an aunt to a beautiful girl Adalae and a nephew due in August!
I'm excited to see what God is going to teach me this year. My prayer is that i just be a vessel he can use. I want to be his hands and feet and go where he wants me to go. I'm excited to just be able to love on people the way Jesus wants his people loved.
Some of my favorite things are; being God's daughter, the Detroit Red Wings, Bon-Fires, Listening to music, Dr. Pepper, Wendy's, hanging out with my wonderful friends, and spending quality time with my family.
