A Little About Me!

 My name is Kayleigh Sutherlan.  You can call me Kay or Kayleigh.  I don’t care which one (people usually use the first when they have to try to spell it out lol).  I am 23 years old and was born and raised in Springdale, AR.  I moved to Missouri to go to college, and now reside in Branson (yes.. where Silver Dollar City is). 

I love anything outdoors.  I would rather be hiking, camping, climbing, kayaking, or just lying in a hammock than sitting inside any day (hence the whole bad at blogging thing!).  I also love working with kids and anything crafty. 

I went on my first  ever mission trip my senior year of college to Jerez,  Zacatecas, Mexico with Little One’s Ministries.  I didn’t really want to go because “I couldn’t afford it,” but my friend made me sign up anyways.  Long story short, I came up with the money and went down for a week in January ’11.  My life would never be the same.  Since then I have been down on 5 trips (a total of about 4 months) to Mexico, and spent two months in Corinto, Nicaragua (going down for two more this summer with the same ministry).  

 I’ve been praying for a while about longer term missions, but God has never opened the door up until now.  I am really excited to see God's plan unfold as I prepare to head out on the world race in January 2014!!
