Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. ~Proverbs 3:5

Today I recieved a huge dose of that verse! I have found so much encouragement, support and love from family, friends, and people I did not know. All I can say is WOW! God sure does have a great way of showing his wonderful blessings to us all. I have met the most amazing woman ever in the oddest of ways. My uncle was in the hospital for a few days and I went to go visit him. Well I had just recieved my threads of hope bracelets. I started selling them to the nurses on his floor. Well I heard a nurse talking outside of the room about what I was doing and I came out and started talking to her. She was so excited about my trip and wanted to know more so we exchanged information and went our own ways. About 10 minutes later she came back up and asked me if she could take a bundle of my bracelets to sell to the people in the pharmacy. I decided to let her, she seemed trustworthy. Well she was going to get them to my uncle the next morning with the money she got. My uncle was released that next day before she came up. So she got my number and we decided to meet up. Really she could have taken advantage of me and kept the bracelets and money, but she didn't! She and I met up tonight and she is so amazing! She has given me the most encouragement to keep going. She sold out of 100 bracelets all but 14 to the people in the hospital. She is telling everyone about what I am doing and they are all supporting me. It is amazing what she is doing to help me and she doesn't even know me. Well I gave her a few more bundles to sell and she was so thrilled to keep helping. We are going to work on fundraising together. Seriously trusting her was the best thing I did. And now I have found a friend and a wonderful sister in Christ. I can't believe how much she is helping me and we have only met 2 times. What a wonderful woman!! She gave me a pouch that has Proverbs 3:5 on it to keep my money in, and she told me that it was trust that brought us together. I can not thank her enough for the wonderful things she is doing. I can't even thank God enough for how he brought us together! He knows just how to place people in the right place at the right time. I have no reason to doubt what God can do. I thank him for the great people he has brought in my life and that he keeps bringing into my life.
With all of that being said, I have to keep trusting in God to provide all I need for the Race. He is providing in ways I would never have expected, and I know he will still provide. I have to keep trusting in him and stop trying to lean on what I know. Lets be real…. God knows all and I know only a tiny piece of the puzzle. So really why should we doubt what he is doing just because we don't understand at the time. We need to go with it and see the wonderful outcome that he has provided. I can not wait to see what all he has in store for my team and I. All I can do is keep trusting in him and following what he has called me to do. Man do I love my Father God! He is a wonderfull man!
